iiBraidd — Policy & Procedures

Please read these policies carefully before booking. Scheduling an appointment confirms that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms.

📌 Booking & Deposits

• All appointments are confirmed only after the deposit is paid.

• Appointments must be booked through the official booking link.

• Deposits are non-refundable and ensure your selected time is reserved.

• Deposits are included in the price when you book your appointment. The remaining balance that is shown will be expected at the end of your service.

🎨 Braiding Hair Color

• 1B is the default braiding hair color unless otherwise stated.

• If you need a different color, text 443-810-0198 with:
  Your Name + Appointment Date + Style + Desired Braiding Hair Color.

• If no color is sent, the default (1B) will be used.

💧 Hair Preparation Requirements

Please arrive with:

• Clean, freshly shampooed hair

• Fully detangled

• Blow-dried straight

• No oils, creams, or heavy products

Failure to follow prep instructions may result in:

• A prep fee,

• Longer appointment time, or

• Rescheduling at your expense.

⏳ Late Arrival Policy

• Please arrive on time. A 15-minute grace period is offered.

• After 10 minutes, a late fee may apply.

• After 30 minutes, the appointment may be canceled, and the deposit forfeited, if prior notice wasn't given at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment.

• Due to shifts in traveling, you will be notified at least an hr in advance of any shifts in your appointment time

🚫 No-Show Policy

• No-call/no-show clients will forfeit their deposit and may be blocked from future bookings.

👥 Extra Guest Policy

To maintain a peaceful and professional environment:
No extra guests or children are permitted unless they are being serviced in Private Location appointments. You are free to have who you desire to have in your home during your appointment. Just please have a smoke free environment available.

❌ Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Same-day cancellations forfeit your travel fee and a new fee is required to rebook.

• To avoid losing your travel fee, please reschedule 24 hours in advance.

• Deposits remain non-refundable but may be transferred to a new appointment with sufficient notice.

📍 Private Location Appointments

• Available by request only.

• Limited availability.

• Please allow 48 hours for confirmation of private-location bookings.

💳 Payments

• Accepted forms of payment:Payments are accepted via Cash and Square app ONLY

• Tips can be sent via Cashapp if requested

• Remaining balance is due at the end of your appointment.

📸 Photo/Video Content

IIBraidd may take photos or videos for portfolio or promotional purposes.
(If you'd prefer not to be recorded, please inform us before the appointment.)

⚠️ Health & Safety

iiBraidd reserves the right to refuse service if:

• The scalp shows signs of infection, open sores, lice, or irritation

• The client shows disrespect or violates policies

❓FAQs

Do I need experience?
No! This class is beginner-friendly and perfect for all levels.

Do I need to bring a mannequin?
If you have one, bring it. If not, we will have practice options available.

Are tools included?
Basic tools are provided. You may bring your own if you prefer but each participant will receive a kit.

Is lunch really included?
Yes! Lunch is provided for all students.

Can I bring my child?
For safety and space, onlyschool aged children are allowed in the classroom. Children who are able to look and learn or you can use your child as your mannequin.
